Pre-war Post-war
Before the American Revolution, the Church of England was the main operational sanctuary for Christians, of whom most were men and women from England. Moreover, some of the most common religions at the time were Quakers, Moravians and Mennonites (pg. 233) After the civil war in America, there were huge changes that led to a complete overhaul of American religion. For instance, the state of Pennsylvania saw the seizing of properties belonging to the Moravians, Quakers and Mennonites (p.233).
