While their missions are somewhat distinct, these groups have a common goal of seeing to it that nurses can access the tools they require to deliver high-quality care for their patients.

The Board of Nursing (BON) is in charge of enforcing regulations on the nursing profession and making sure that nurses follow best practices. The board is comprised of appointees who are tasked with formulating public safety regulations.
